Do you know which new books will increase and maybe even “skyrocket” in value?

Join our Membership Site to discover these books and get:

  • Our list of 600+ rated books

  • A Forum for Members

  • New … chart of book prices vs ratings!

  • Information on buying books … where and how

  • Information on selling books – what are the best marketplaces or on-line sites?

  • A list of books we recently bought

  • Reviews of the highest rated books

  • Our Collectible Book of The Month

Book Ratings

One of the reasons you’ll want to subscribe to the site is to get the latest ratings.  You’ll find this located on the right side of the page under Book Information when you join.  Click on All Book Ratings.

The higher the rating of a book the better.   There are no guarantees that a book will increase in price but there does seem to be a correlation of the ratings to their price.

Collectible Book Posts

Another feature and the most typical item you’ll find is the post.  The most recent ones are listed in the menu near the top of the right side of the page.  Below these are others located in various categories.

I’ll be concentrating on two of the categories:

1.  Books to Consider
– books with ratings over 45

2.  Collectible Books of the Month
– one of the most highly rated books I have researched that is due to be released during the month
– these are the books I purchase for my own collection; I will let you know when and where I bought it

Other Posts

What else will I be writing about?  You can see samples under “Recent Posts”.

In addition to writing about the rated books, there will be posts about:

1.  Author signings

2.  Awards and shortlists

3.  Book Festival Information

4.  Book Selling

5.  Book Reviews

6.  Antique Books

7.  E-books and their impact on book collecting

Member Posts and Comments

You can attach comments to each of the posts at any time.  Members will also be able to write posts for other members to see.

A forum where members can meet and discuss book collecting and book selling has been added.

Have an idea for a topic? Let us know and we’ll add it.

Cost of the Membership Site

The cost of a membership is:

$19.95 per year

When the membership gets to a certain level I will slowly increase the cost .  So don’t wait too long to decide to join.

Note:  I no longer have a 30-day preview.  In place of the preview I will be making many of the early posts public. Anyone can see them.  I will also be adding public information on book collecting and other topics.

My goal is to have a low price and a site with so much information that you won’t think twice about joining.

To Sign-up

Click on “Subscribe” at the top of the page.  The payments will be conducted through PayPal.  If you have a PayPal account then it will be very simple to sign up.  I won’t see your credit card information.

If you don’t have a PayPal account and don’t want to get one, you can pay by money order or personal check. Please e-mail me at for details.

After you pay you’ll be e-mailed a password that will allow you into the site.

Is the Membership Price Reasonable?

When I started collecting books in 1998 I subscribed to Bookline for $75 a year.  There were twelve issues a year in a very nicely done newsletter.  The newsletter only focused on mystery books.  To learn about literary fiction you had to subscribe to another $75 per year newsletter.

But in Fiction Prediction we not only cover mysteries, but literary fiction, science fiction, fantasy, horror, thrillers and young adult fiction.  Even some biographies and non-fiction occasionally.  We simply don’t want to miss any book that may become valuable in a few months or years.

Thanks again for visiting.  The email for this site is if you have questions.

1 Comment on Discovering Tomorrow’s Valuable Books Today

  1. Pavel Sergeyev says:

Well, I don’t wish the price to go up, but… $15 is nothing when you compare it to the value of the information provided on this website. I hope the project lives with enough support from the subscribers.

A little suggestion. I think the community would benefit if comments could somehow be made more obvious. It’s very hard to remember after a while which article I left a comment to. When someone answers to your comment there is no indication that I could find, besides below the article itself.

    Thank You
